What is Storypark

Storypark creates a secure online network of the people that matter most for your child. It helps working parents, far-away family members, educators and specialists ensure children receive the best opportunities possible. This will allow you to watch and contribute to your child’s learning progression, all from the comfort of your own home or workplace. There is even an application that you can download on your iOS or Android device to view stories on the go.

Think of Storypark like a Facebook for your child, but only accessible by a select few. Text and media can be uploaded from anyone connected to the network, allowing everyone to witness what the child has been learning throughout their days at Beach Kids. All of the content is stored in the cloud and kept forever, as well as being a virtual timeline of your child's development.

Storypark is used by both centres to let whanau know the current policies that are under review, giving whanau the chance to have a say in the foundation documents of Beach Kids. We also use Storypark to advertise community events and to keep whanau in the loop with upcoming events.

There will never be any charge to parents or whanau for the use of Storypark - we cover all costs.

How it all works

1. After enrolling in Beach Kids Early Learning Centre, we will create an account for your child
2. A link will be sent out via email to create login details for the account
3. We will take a 'headshot' image of your child to use as their display picture
4. Beach Kids staff will begin posting up learning stories and planning notes in relation to your childs learning
